Healthcare Rights for Helpers

Helpers legally employed in Poland are entitled to free public healthcare through the NFZ. Once insured, you can see doctors, specialists, and access hospitals without paying out of pocket.

Insurance also covers emergency care and preventive check-ups. Support is provided to help you get your PESEL number and register with a local healthcare provider, ensuring you can access care easily and with confidence.

Opportunities for Helpers

Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, working as a helper offers stable income and valuable skills in construction and facility management. With on-the-job training and upskilling programs, you can grow into specialized or supervisory roles.

Support is available to help you meet all legal requirements, so you can focus on building a secure and rewarding future.

Sick Leave Policy

If you become ill while working as a helper, you are entitled to paid sick leave. A doctor will issue a medical certificate, which you must submit to your employer or through the ZUS system.

During your leave, you’ll receive about 80% of your average earnings to support you while you recover. You should never feel pressured to return before you’re ready—your health comes first.
